“By being part of a larger company and having the support of Volaris, we get access to resources and expertise that can help open doors to new business opportunities that were previously inaccessible to us,” says Mikael Boquist, CEO of Icore.

Volaris Group specialises in the acquisition and growth of technology companies. The goal of the recent acquisition of Icore is to continue to develop the company and help support long-term and sustainable growth together with a further strengthened market position.

“Volaris is constantly on the lookout for companies with exciting products and services in the software industry and we have found that in Icore. Our mission is to support and inspire Icore’s management in their work. We work to develop leaders and provide the management team autonomy to run the business,” says Christian Lanng, Portfolio Manager, Nordics and UK & Portfolio COO, Volaris Group.

Icore will run the business as a separate operating company within Volaris Group and retain the name, brand, and focus on its own market. With a strong parent behind it, Icore will have access to a comprehensive toolbox, a global network, and the opportunity to collaborate with other companies within the group.

“Volaris specialises in developing software companies and has expertise in many areas, from talent development to R&D, to sales and marketing. Icore now has a unique opportunity to further improve our quality solutions for both existing and new customers and continue to strengthen our position in the market. It will simply be Icore 2.0,” says Mikael Boquist.
