Westgate are excited to announce the launch of their rebrand and name change to Westgate Global. The Stafford based partitions, hoarding and external structure solutions supplier want to demonstrate how the company has expanded in recent years, and the change in name and identity will reflect this success and contribute to its ever developing growth strategy.
Founded in 1977, ‘Westgate Solar Control’ installed window film to local businesses. By 1981 the company started supplying and installing Flexiwall, a revolutionary reinforced fabric partition wall, to the industrial sectors as ‘Westgate Factory Dividers’ and continued to add further partitions to the range. In 2005 Hoardfast, a unique internal hoarding screen was added to the portfolio and ‘Westgate Site Segregation’ was launched.
The company ‘Westgate’ has become well known for its partitions and hoarding and has continued to go from strength to strength as an integrated solutions provider. Now with over 45 years’ experience, the business has grown to include the design, supply and installation of a wide ranging product portfolio including temporary buildings to support businesses in their need for optimised space solutions that solve issues with dust, temperature, cross-contamination, fire resistance, sound reduction, additional space and much more.
More recently in 2020 a change of business entity to Westgate Global Ltd made the company think about the future of its ‘Westgate’ trading name, and with new ventures on the horizon the conversation and debate turned to whether the name Westgate was enough to launch the business into new territories.
With a new strategy and structure, the company has decided to reinvent itself one last time and officially trade as Westgate Global, alongside the release of a new identity and website redesign that will work with its growing business model. The iconic shield symbol that has given Westgate the brand awareness and recognition over the past years is still being used within the new identity.
Head of Sales & Marketing, Murray Gates said “We agreed that the ‘shield’ element of our previous logo echoes our ethos and leans towards our buyers’ tendencies of safety and protection. Keeping the shield and Westgate in our name also shows our dedication to the history of the business that helped get us here (building on our great reputation), and ‘Global’ represents where we are heading”.
“It also helps with continuity for our employees and customers. Same company, same great service, but a realigned strategy and direction of growth with a sustained focus on enhancing employee and customer satisfaction to build on our existing good reputation”.
Nathan Barr, Managing Director said of the rebrand “The new brand and launch of the website represents our ambition and reflects how the company has evolved in recent years. It’s time to look ahead and ensure that we are dressed for the future. We’ve always had a great culture, driven from a team of like-minded individuals who want to provide an excellent service to our customers. With the new brand and website, it takes us one step further and fully communicates our principles and ethos to another level. The improved site will provide a better user experience and guide our customers to research the solution they need from Westgate Global, showcasing our dedication to quality, performance and service excellence”.
