Packaging Innovations and Empack 2022, the UK’s premier packaging industry event, will bring the community together when it returns to Birmingham’s NEC on 25 and 26 May. At the event, visitors can discover new suppliers, do business, and network with like-minded professionals.
The event’s exhibitors cater to every sector, including contract packing and fulfilment, personal care, food and drink, household, pharmaceutical and chemical, and label and print. Many exhibitors will use the event to debut their latest innovations, with guests having the opportunity to get hands-on with the latest products, designs, and technology.
Consumables Manufacturing, Bobst, Global One Pak, Thermal Printer Support, Item Products, Lactips, Skanem UK, and Tagit are a selection of the industry leaders exhibiting at the event. Actega, Esko, PEFC UK, TAWI, WePack, GTL Plastics, Lemonpath, Reedbut, and Robinson will also be present on the event floor.
Alongside over 300 exhibitors, Packaging Innovations and Empack 2022 will host an industry-led seminar programme held across three stages. For visitors specialising in manufacturing, processing and logistics, The Empack Technology Stage will cover a range of topics such as robotics, energy efficiency and e-fulfilment. Professionals can also hear actionable advice on the Innovation and Design Stage and the Ecopack Stage, which will present the latest issues, insights, and challenges affecting packaging designers, agencies, and technologists.
The Big Debate, one of the event’s headline sessions, will see experts tackle the latest in packaging regulations, amongst other external driving forces. Elsewhere, the Ecopack Challenge, a Dragons’ Den-style competition, will see a winner crowned by a judging panel featuring sustainability experts from brands such as Ocado and Pret A Manger.
