Ziegler UK Ltd., a growing, multi-modal logistics company, has taken a long-term lease on an ambient distribution facility at DP World London Gateway Logistics Park.
The 95,000 sq ft warehouse will be the location for its London-centric logistics hub, handling import and export consignments, and will serve as home to its UK headquarters.
Ziegler UK Ltd. will offer its customers a range of value-added services from the site, facilitating customs processes, deconsolidation of goods and providing an all-encompassing supply chain service that matches ever-evolving global market demands.
The move represents further growth for the global transport company, which already operates multiple sites in 15 countries, making it possible to offer a responsive and flexible local service across all aspects of the supply chain.
The decision to locate at DP World London Gateway’s trade enabling hub – a state-of-the art port and rail terminal on the same site as a landbank for the development of warehousing – will maximise Ziegler’s customers’ true cost-to-serve and drive a more agile and reliable supply chain.
The onward distribution centre will handle a wide range of products arriving at DP World London Gateway Port from a number of countries around the world, facilitating flow management right to their final location.
