Leading crate rental company phs Teacrate has appointed Andy Kelly to the role of sales director as it targets a major growth drive.

Andy joins phs Teacrate with more than 25 years’ experience in the service industry and substantial skills in managing sales forces. In his new role, he is tasked with growing the business and supporting customers to develop new opportunities.

Throughout his expansive career to date, Andy has worked across the board starting as a van driver and progressing through to branch manager, regional director and field sales manager with UK and global remits. His roles also include stints within national accounts and as sales director and sales operations director. With strengths in driving sales force efficiency projects, Andy will be responsible for all sales channels for the phs Teacrate business including field sales and the internal sales team.

He said: “Teacrate already has a good reputation for customer service delivery and is recognised as being the best at what it does. We are already picking up the pace as we approach the end of our financial year and, having doubled our sales team, are ready to build upon this momentum next year.

“It’s now time to re-energise the sales force to drive new business as well as further enhancing our relationships with our existing customer base. Part of this involves offering customers our unique insight into the market and where we have identified potential new opportunities. We can then work closely with customers to seize these opportunities which will benefit both their business and ours; creating a long-term strategic partnership which works for all.”

With almost 100 staff across the UK, phs Teacrate provides the largest selection of plastic crate products available on the market alongside handling equipment and packaging products.
