The I.D. Systems’ team had a busy and very worthwhile few days at the IMHX exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham, which definitely lived up to its billing as the UK’s largest logistics event. With three years between each IMHX there are always plenty of new developments on show and I.D. Systems’ stand, with a focus on smart MHE fleet management, was no exception.

Exhibits ranged from the new enhanced version of the very popular didBOX® product for smaller MHE fleets, which now comes with options such as an impact sensor, to the flagship PowerFleet® system. Offering numerous benefits for companies operating larger fleets, particularly across multiple sites, this multifunctional and wireless solution can be complemented by the new PowerFleet IQ™, the innovative KPI dashboard tool for strategic in-depth analysis.

An eye catcher on the stand was also the new generation of hardware, the VAC4, fitted to a tow tractor from electric vehicle manufacturer Bradshaw, which gave visitors a hands on opportunity to try out the new features of this very easy to install unit.

“Along with fellow exhibitors we were impressed with the high calibre of visitors to IMHX,” said Ute Filippone, Business Manager EMEA & UK. “From our discussions during the four days it was evident that they were all experts in their field and very focused on sourcing the best products for their requirements. As well as meeting current customers checking out what’s new, we had some excellent enquiries from new contacts that we are confident will lead to long term business relationships.”
