Citizen Systems Europe presented two new label printers at EuroCIS, the leading trade fair for retail technology, which this year took place in Dusseldorf, Germany from 19th – 21st February 2013. The newly-launched CL-S300 and CL-S6621 printers were the focal points of a stand that showcased Citizen’s wide range of compact, powerful and efficient printers.
The CL-S300 has been designed and developed to help busy retailers achieve simple, reliable printing at a competitive price. The printer runs on a Windows® Graphical Device Interface, enabling simple plug and play printing from any Windows® application. The CL-S300 also incorporates Citizen’s Hi-Open™ case, which lifts vertically to enable easier media loading without increasing the unit’s footprint.
At 60% smaller than the next largest 6-inch, the CL-S6621 is the smallest 6-inch label printer on the market, saving valuable desk space as well as offering a range of powerful features. And because the next most expensive 6-inch costs 50% more, the CL-S6621 is not only the smallest but also the best priced 6-inch printer on the market. The printer is packed with technology that boosts print quality and reliability, including the ARCP™ automatic tension system that enables clearer prints.
