Sperrin Metal Storage Solutions, one of the leading storage manufacturers in Britain and Ireland is proud to announce their 50th year in business, selling a complete range of racking, shelving, lockers, cubicles and mezzanine floors.
The company was established in 1963 by a local clergyman in conjunction with local businesses to provide employment in the Draperstown area. It began with 7 people and has grown steadily over the years becoming a direct employer of over 150 staff.
Bought over in 1986 by a Director at that time, Pat Gormley, the company remains privately owned by the Gormley family, and whose ethos has been and continues to be the long term survival and success of Sperrin Metal.
Director Peter Gormley states “The main factor in the company’s success is our ability to offer the customer a customised product. By providing these bespoke products, Sperrin Metal continually aims to meet customer requirements and to exceed their expectations. Having this ability to meet customers’ exact requirements has given us a unique competitive edge.”
Innovation and diversification has also played a major role in the company’s success with ongoing research and development. Over the years Sperrin Metal Storage Solutions have expanded their product range of lockers and racking, diversifying into other areas of storage systems such as mezzanine floors, cubicles, bespoke storage units and a vast array of shelving systems on offer for industrial and commercial environments. Another added advantage when dealing with Sperrin Metal is that the company also oversees the complete process right through to installation therefore exerting full control over the project.
