Pyroban has appointed a new Major Accounts Manager for its Industrial Division. Terry Andrews joins the Pyroban team following almost 30 years’ experience in the forklift truck industry; his roles have included management of both UK and European accounts with Toyota and Jungheinrich.
The position has been created to strengthen Pyroban’s communications with all leading forklift brands and to improve the direct interface with major Pyroban users across the world. Pyroban expects to convert over 800 forklift trucks this year for safe operation in high risk, potentially explosive operations and has significant growth plans.
Malcolm Davis, Business Manager for Pyroban’s Industrial Division says “Terry brings a wealth of experience into the Pyroban business and will help us improve how we work with the forklift OEMs, dealers and their customers.”
Terry will be based at the Pyroban’s headquarters in West Sussex, UK, but will have a responsibility working with all major forklift brands across the world. Pyroban is approved by all leading manufacturers to convert their equipment to ensure it complies with the relevant local legislation such as ATEX 94/9/EC in Europe.
Commenting on his appointment Terry said “I have significant experience specifying and supporting large forklift fleets with explosion proofing forming a large part, and I am delighted to now be working with the market leader in this complex area of the forklift truck industry.”
Pyroban has manufacturing facilities in Europe, Singapore and China and provides a range of safety critical and environmental products and hazardous area services typically for manufacturing, logistics, oil and gas and mining businesses across the world.
