reed5.jpgStandard concrete floors in industrial situations are subject to heavy and continuous wear and can soon show signs of damage from impact, abrasion and chemical and oil spillage. This damage can be the cause of slips and trips and other health and safety issues. When the time comes for the floor of industrial premises to be refurbished, it needs to be done quickly by specialist flooring contractors. Over a weekend is the preferred option to minimise disruption to operations.

Sikafloor Pronto is one of the fastest curing flooring systems available and has been the rapid response solution for worn factory, warehouse and retail floors up and down the country. Often the entire floor surface refurbishment has been completed within 24 hours.

Sikafloor Pronto is a multi component resin flooring system based on polymethyl methacrylic (pmma) technology comprising a primer, a self-smoothing screed and a seal coat. In average temperature conditions Pronto flooring can be walked upon within one hour of being laid and only two hours before it achieves full cure. Application can still be undertaken in extreme cold temperatures when the cure time is simply extended to four hours. The finished surface is extremely durable with very good mechanical, chemical and UV resistance.

The Sikafloor Pronto system is boosted by broadcasting quartz aggregate between coats which creates a slip resistant surface. Coloured chips may also be added to the aggregate creating a more aesthetic appearance.
