The Toyota stand will not only showcase their extensive range of counterbalance and warehouse equipment for the material handling industry, but feature three live demonstration areas, enabling visitors to see the many unique product features and benefits of the Toyota range. Combined with a full range of product displays and a seminar theatre featuring a series of master-class workshops, Toyota will show how they can help customers improve efficiency in their business. The three demonstration areas will focus on different product areas including hand pallet trucks, the powered range of counterbalance forklifts and warehouse trucks and a virtual warehouse.

imhx_stand_visual_2Toyota’s hand pallet truck range will take up the first live demonstration area, giving visitors an opportunity to see the BT Lifter range’s superior quality. On display will be the best selling BT Lifter LHM230 and the unique BT Pro Lifter. The BT Pro Lifter hand pallet truck requires up to 67% less starting effort than standard hand pallet trucks, making it the ergonomic choice for optimal safety and productivity. Toyota hand pallet trucks specialists will provide visitors with a full demonstration of the unique features and benefits which make the BT Lifter range the class leader.

Toyota will be showing the world-class technology and innovative features that are part of its core product range. The counterbalance forklift demonstration will show the individual functions of the patented Toyota System of Active Stability (SAS).  SAS electronically monitors and controls lift truck operations and Toyota will show how these functions can help customers to improve productivity and increase safety in the workplace. The warehouse demonstration will show the excellent manoeuvrability of the BT Orion powered pallet truck and the benefits of the BT Reflex reach truck which features the transitional lift control and the unique tilting cab which reduces operator neck strain.

Demonstrations in the area will take place every hour, with times posted around the stand each day.

imhx_stand_visual_3Toyota’s virtual warehouse will also be a key focus on the stand, giving visitors a unique opportunity to see warehouse automation at its very best. Demonstrations will include the latest voice activated order picking technology. For narrow aisle and confined space environments, the BT Radioshuttle, a patented load carrier designed for handling pallets in a high density racking environment, will be showing its functionality along with the BT very narrow aisle truck, ideal for accessing racking with restricted aisle width.

“We have focused on a truly interactive stand to give maximum opportunity to our customers and prospects to see how we can make a difference to their material handling requirements” says Mike Mathias, managing director of Toyota Material Handling UK.
