The slimline DRE480 series from Chinfa provide 94% efficiency for reliable operation in a variety of space-constrained industrial applications, says Relec Electronics
The DRE480 Series of AC-DC power supplies by Chinfa are now available from specialist distributor, Relec Electronics. The DIN-Rail mountable power supplies are available in variants, the 24V DRE480-24A and 48V DRE480-48A, with adjustment ranges up to 28V and 56V respectively.
In addition to typical efficiency of 94% (DRE480-48A; 93% for the DRE-48024A), the power supplies can supply a fully rated 480W at up to 55°C and up to 720W for either three seconds or a 20% duty cycle. Input ranges from 90 to 264Vac.
The compact power supplies measure 124 x 8.35 x 116mm and feature switch-selectable parallel function and SELV component design. All models can be parallel connected with active current sharing for higher power applications.
The DRE480 Series is part of the DRA/DRE Series of industrial power supplies. Target applications include factory automation, industrial and building controls, door entry systems and instrumentation, as well as electromagnetic drives, fans and other DC loads.
The DRE480 Series carries a manufacturer’s three-year warranty and is approved to UL, cUL, TUV and CE certifications. All Chinfa DIN-Rail power supplies are fully approved to EN/UL62368-1 and meet the industrial norms for EMC emissions and immunity.
