Unipart Logistics has recently had an Aganto temporary industrial building installed to house their waste management process at the National Distribution and Repair centre in Nuneaton.

Having worked with Aganto previously, Senior Facilities Manager at Unipart John Jobson contacted Sales Manager Janos Szabo for a budget cost. Following the initial consultation, Unipart opted for an insulated building with dimensions of 15 x 40 x 4.2 metres at the eave. The specification included two electric roller shutter doors – one at each end, to allow for easy movement of material through the waste process. The modular construction of Aganto temporary buildings means they can be dismantled and resold at the end of their useful lifecycle or moved to an alternate location. To take full advantage of this benefit, the building was purchased outright, although rental is also available as an alternative.

Once planning approval was granted, installation work commenced. The base plate was fixed to the existing concrete hardstanding, then the frame profiles were erected. The build schedule concluded with installation of the pedestrian access doors, guttering and sealing.

The full installation was completed ahead of time, with a five-man site team in just one week. In line with standard procedure, as the build process neared completion, Aganto’s in-house Site Manager Wayne Bradshaw inspected the structure alongside the client to ensures any additional snagging works were quickly identified. The client was satisfied with the finished result, with positive feedback from John: “Can I pass on my thanks to all concerned for the installation at our Nuneaton site build completed today. Wayne and his team have done a brilliant job ahead of time, to a high standard of workmanship, and with no issues or causes of concern to us for the duration of the works.”

Aganto temporary buildings and canopies are a great option for warehousing, logistics workshops and industrial processing. Due to their lightweight, yet robust modular design they are fast to install and help make best use of existing space on site. www.aganto.co.uk
