Marcar Steel and Engineering Ltd are the sole agents and distributors for Hoesch Schwerter Profile GmbH (special steel profiles) and Faro Industriale (combined bearings) on the U.K. market. Both are major, key suppliers to the world’s leading materials handling manufacturers.
Marcar have been established for over sixty years now and have a long standing tradition of supplying OEMs and the after-market with hot rolled carriage bars), mast steel profiles and combined bearings to suit. Most of our customers represent the materials handling industry, but not only. Many of our customers are manufacturers of materials handling equipment. Marcar also supply to other industries where vertical and horizontal linear motion is required.
As of October 2019, we will also stock some stainless steel profiles (the range will be gradually expanded) to supply the specialist market including the food and pharmaceutical industries.
These will be held at our West Midlands warehouse and can be cut to required length and delivered or collected, if the customer so prefers.
The profiles in question are extruded, quenched, mechanically descaled and pickled.
