In the last three years Bullet Express has seen its turnover increase to over £1m and the company continues to win new business. To cope with its ongoing expansion, Bullet Express has invested significantly in new technology to ensure that throughput speeds and levels of customer service are optimized and plans are at an advanced stage to build a new 180,000sq ft facility on land adjacent to the company’s existing facility in Glasgow.

Century Logistics, based in Suffolk, is now in its 22nd year of trading. CULINA GROUP

Culina Group is an ambient and chilled food and drink 3PL specialist providing warehousing, distribution, contract packing and bonded services across the UK and Ireland.

Enjoying tremendous growth since entering the UK marketplace in 1994, the business now has a turnover upwards of £650million, employs 6,700 people across 62 sites, operates more than 8 million sq ft of warehousing and runs a fleet of 1200 trucks and 2,000 trailers.

The company’s strategic focus is on food and drink logistics within a shared user environment driven by volume and critical mass. This delivers an efficient and cost effective solution for clients.

In 2018 the company acquired Robson’s – a market-leader in time-critical fresh produce logistics, and Foodpack – a move which significantly extends Culina’s overall offering and allows the company to enter a new market.

WALKER LOGISTICS LTD

Walker Logistics operates over 250,000 sq ft of high quality, ambient temperature warehousing space from its site close to Junction 14 of the M4 in Berkshire. Established in 1999 and celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the company is a true family business and now employs three second-generation members of the founding Walker family in key roles within different departments.

Walker offers both traditional pallet storage and distribution services and operates its own fleet of vehicles but, in recent years, has focused its growth strategy on offering both B2B and B2C fulfillment solutions that help an increasingly diverse client base to grow their online sales as well as dedicated onsite re-work facilities meaning they are a complete supply chain provider. In a highly competitive market, the company has won no less than 15 new accounts since January 2018.
