Telford based high-speed door manufacturer EFAFLEX are no strangers to innovation. It’s rather fitting that their UK Head Office is not far from Ironbridge, the birthplace of the industrial revolution.

Once again EFAFLEX will join industry experts, innovators and pioneers in their respective fields as they gather together at The Made In the Midlands Expo. The event takes place on 20th June, Ricoh Arena, Coventry and marks its 10th anniversary. Billed as the UK’s largest regional manufacturing and engineering exhibition, it promises to bring together thousands of business delegates and industry leaders from sectors including automotive, oil and gas, aerospace, retail, defence and medical.

Darren Turrell, UK Managing Director, EFAFLEX helps to explain, ‘We are proud of our company’s 40+ year heritage. During that time, our doors have meant that we have become the supplier of choice for many clients, who rely on their design and build quality to help drive performance improvements throughout their business. Our highspeed doors are not roller shutters.

For one, they operate at up to 4 metres per second opening time, and also have the highest insulation properties to reduce energy costs by as much as 50%.’ He went on, ‘This is our third year of supporting The Made in the Midlands Expo. It gives us the ideal platform to network with existing customers and demonstrate to prospective buyers what makes EFAFLEX unique.’

The Expo is free to attend and will showcase the biggest collection of Midlands manufacturers under one roof. Asked what’s new for 2019 and Turrell had no hesitation in replying, ‘This year we will be demonstrating our Sales App. This programme is a perfect tool to build a client’s requirement as a 3D render.

Literally, at the click of a button we can input dimensions, door type, colour, and control systems to give a realistic representation of how their door would look and operate in situ. It really helps customers through the decision making process. Our highspeed doors are built to order, but that doesn’t make them unaffordable. When clients calculate the overall benefits of reduced energy bills, increased efficiencies due to the door’s opening speeds, and minimised downtime due to the build quality, they see the many financial, safety and environmental benefits. Much of our revenue is generated from returning customers who have switched from roller shutters or sectional doors.’

If customers are unable to attend the exhibitions, the mobile demonstration door trailer will be on its travels around the UK (weeks 26 – 29). No obligation appointments can be booked by emailing marketing@efaflexuk.com
