At present to be General Manager, but there are new opportunities every day at NX.

200kg squat, 200kg deadlift, 160kg bench press.
WLN – What’s your favourite thing about managing a team?
Seeing people learn and develop, and building the next generation of leaders with the right style and attitude.
WLN – What would you be doing now if you hadn’t gone into transport & logistics?
I worked for four years in a payroll department, so possibly that.
WLN – What are your three main hobbies or interests?
Weight training, football and fishing.
WLN – If you could be a vehicle, which make and model would you be?
Lewis Hamilton’s F1 Mercedes.
WLN – What’s something people might not expect about you?
I enjoy making desserts and I am a qualified tree surgeon!
WLN – What’s been the best day of your life so far?
The birth of my kids.

Moving from a warehouse environment into transport to expand my overall industry knowledge.

Cancún, Mexico – Spring Break 2004. Pretty self-explanatory!
WLN – Which of your achievements are you most proud of?
Building NX Secure from scratch with the help of a good team around me.
WLN – Finally, what are your top tips for success in this industry?
Understand it’s not a 09:00 – 17:00 job, stay focused and don’t take your foot off the pedal, have a “can do” attitude and find solutions not problems.
