In response to high demand for its vertical conveying solutions, Nerak Wiese has recruited Jason Burrill as Business Development Manager to promote the company’s bulk-handling range.

Having worked for 19 years for a direct competitor – beginning as an apprentice and working his way up to Area Sales Manager – Jason brings with him a wealth of experience across a range of bulk-handling sectors including animal feed, brewing, chemicals, food, waste, bio-mass, pharmaceuticals and aggregates.

Jason has special expertise in the field of service, which informs his advice and specification of solutions for customers. “Having worked as both a Commissioning Engineer and a Service Supervisor,” says Jason, “I really understand the factors that affect system reliability and availability. I use this to ensure clients get the best design possible for their application – one that will give them a long service life and therefore a low lifetime cost.”

Away from the office Jason is a motorsport enthusiast, racing post classic motorcycles on roads and race circuits across the UK and Europe. After four years of completing various entry requirements, he hopes to compete in the Isle of Man Classic TT next year.

Commented Simon Musgrave, Nerak’s Sales Director, “We’re delighted to welcome Jason and have already been impressed by his technical knowledge, sales drive and general zest for life.”
