Mark Samms, and his mother Mollie Samms have been running the business since 1978. We have established a portfolio working with a range of bluechip companies and work extensively throughout the Midlands, Yorkshire and Humberside and the North West. However we are not restricted by region.
Peter Samms Equipment Ltd, supplies all kinds of racking, shelving, filing systems, mezzanine flooring, suspended ceilings and all the accessories that are required to complete your ideal storage system. With over 40 years of expertise we can offer you the best advice about how to get the most out of your available space.
We are a SEMA (Storage Equipment Manufacturers Approved) installation company and are one of a limited number of companies that are registered within the UK. All our staff are trained to supervisory level and are registered on the SEIRS (Storage Equipment Installers Registration Scheme) and hold CSCS cards. Our accreditation is very important to us and we are also proud to be a member of CHAS (Constructors Health and Safety) and Alcumus Safe Contractor Scheme and Constructionline.
We inspect racking to SEMA standards using the SEMA recommended red, amber and green traffic light system. Red being critical, amber requiring attention and green a condition to monitor.
After the inspection has been carried out the inspector will point out any major concerns that may have to be addressed immediately. Following the inspection a written report will be prepared for you outlining all the incidents found. The report will consist of a site layout to illustrate where the incidents have occurred and a comprehensive spreadsheet outlining the number incidents along with the problem and rectification required. Each report will be supported with photographs of some of the major faults. We also offer onsite racking training for you and your employees.
