WLN – What’s the most exciting thing about your job?
It is different every day! I enjoy the interactions with customers and just happen to work with the best team ever! (They paid me to say that!)
WLN – Who’s inspired you most in your career?
My Grandma. The most amazingly, strong, independent, hard working woman I have ever met. A true inspiration to me and even though she isn’t around anymore she still manages to inspire!
WLN – If you were an item in a warehouse, what would you be?
Well, being in the pallet racking industry I have to say a pallet racking beam – I offer support and contribution to the load!
WLN – If you had to do it all over again, what would you do different?
Nothing! Everything in life whether it be good or bad happens for a reason. Sometimes you’ve just got to accept the path you’re given!
WLN – What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you at work?
Snapping the heel of my shoe as I was coming into the work car park hoping to beat everyone… only to be caught by our project manager walking like an idiot.
WLN – Who or what makes you laugh?
Funny things kids say – I can be entertained for hours by my youngest girl and some of the things she comes out with… I just wonder who she gets it from! 😉
WLN – Do you have any hidden talents?
Obviously… too many to mention!
WLN –Who would be your favourite party guest?
Tough one because there are so many to choose from… I would have to pick 2, Phil and Holly… good debates, loads of goss, lots of laughs and plenty of tequila!
WLN – What is the greatest luxury in your life?
Family! I couldn’t ask for any more than what I have.
WLN –What is your favourite guilty pleasure?
Pyjama days and crappy day time TV.
WLN – Do you have any secret ambitions?
I would love to write a book… not necessarily to publish, perhaps just for me (or anyone else who would want to read it). I would love to leave a scribble or two for prosperity with lots of happy memories.
WLN –What’s your dream holiday destination?
Santorini in Greece – My ultimate dream destination.
WLN –What are your three favourite movies of all time?
I am going to sound so sad here! … Labamba and Elf.
WLN –What is your favourite book of all time?
Tess of the Durbervilles by Thomas Hardy – I’m a sucker for a spirited heroine – it is an endearing classic!
WLN –What’s your favourite pastime?
Family time… too precious to miss out on!
WLN – If you won the Lottery, what would you do?
Blow it! … Seriously though I would invest some, buy property, holidays and of course champers!
WLN – What would be your advice to someone thinking about coming into the industry (apart from “don’t do it”)?
