Howard Tenens Logistics has been named as a finalist for the European Automotive Logistics awards.
Following the recent announcement that Howard Tenens has been shortlisted for two Motor Transport awards the logistics company have also been shortlisted for the European Automotive Logistics Awards in the Greener Supply Chain category. The Greener Supply Chain award recognises those that demonstrate the most significant commitment to reducing emissions and pollution within automotive logistics processes.
Howard Tenens has been at the forefront of environmental logistics for over a decade with a number of vehicle trials, solar panel installations, as well as internal waste management projects. The award nomination has come just a few months following the company’s latest environmental initiative, operating two dedicated gas 26-tonne rigid vehicles as part of a trial with Low Emission Freight and Logistics Trial, funded by the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) in partnership with Innovate UK.
