A Transmec UK branch manager will be getting on his bike to make his own long-distance express trip for charity.

Paul Priestley will be cycling 140 miles between his depot in Bradford and the logistics company’s branch at Redditch.

After covering the distance in a single day, he’ll be relaxing with a mere 40-mile round trip between Redditch and the company’s new Worcester warehouse, before cycling back to Bradford the following day.

Paul’s 320-mile ride, which takes place between April 22 and 24, will be raising money for Children with Cancer UK.

“I’m a keen cyclist and am really keen to help children who are facing big challenges on a daily basis,” he said.
