Toyota Material Handling UK will be displaying a range of equipment ideal for use in the food supply chain at Foodex 2018 at the NEC, Birmingham, 16th – 18th April 2018. On stand K260, Toyota will be showcasing a range of trucks ideal for transporting goods in the processing, packing and logistics sectors.

The Toyota team will be on stand to speak to visitors about their materials handling requirements and provide them with advice on which trucks may best suit their operation.

On display will be the BT Lifter stainless steel hand pallet truck, specially designed to meet the high demands in hygiene-related applications and the BT Levio LWE130 powered pallet truck, perfect for applications in confined areas such as retail, shops, supermarkets and on-board delivery vehicles.

Toyota will also be showcasing the BT Staxio SWE080L pedestrian stacker truck which is designed for light to heavy-duty stacking operations and the Traigo 24 counterbalance electric forklift, which is a highly manoeuvrable truck ideal for working in tight areas.

Visitors will also be able to pick up information on the BT Radioshuttle semi-automated load carrier that is designed to transport goods in and out of storage tunnels within specially designed racking. It can be guided with a remote control, while the placement and retrieval of pallets is achieved by using a reach truck or a counterbalance forklift, enabling high-density storage and a maximised number of pallet locations, saving space and cost.
