As logistics companies expand, they often find that they outgrow the existing property which they operate from. They may run out of internal floor space, or do not have enough loading bays to facilitate their operational needs. Dock Solutions have been busy adding extra loading bays on sites across the country.

The loading bays pictured, were designed, manufactured, and installed by Dock Solutions. The load house (grey/red) included a telescopic lip dock leveller, traffic light dock safety system, loading bay light, wheel guides, and a retractable dock shelter which helps minimise water ingress. The 7500mm long structure, was cladded to match the existing building. A ramp on the internal side of the property provides access up to a new dock height. The entire install was carried out within a 3-week period.

Load houses are a cost-effective way to expand loading capacities to meet increased operational demands and can provide a cost-effective way to expand operations, without moving premises. Dock Solutions work closely with customers and will involve the customer throughout the entire process, from design to installation.

The load house design can be manipulated to suit buildings which already have a set dock height. A loading bay surveyor can attend site, free of charge, and specifically design your own load house set up. Dock Solutions Load houses are extremely versatile and be adapted to suit the specific requirements of the customer. If you are looking to add a new loading bay or interested in finding out how a ramp can benefit your business, then please call Dock Solutions today to speak to a friendly member of the team.
