CombiLift will be exhibiting a wide variety of models on its largest LogiMAT stand to date – Hall 9, Stand D51 – in its 20th anniversary year. These will include its multi-directional models, sideloaders, straddle carriers and the Aisle-Master articulated VNA trucks. Exhibits with lift capacities from 1t to 14t will be on show, and a major focus this year is on developments in the pedestrian range.
CombiLift has reacted to growing demand for these models as companies look to using them as opposed to ride-on trucks where possibel to enhance safety procedures. Following the introduction of the Combi-WR and its multidirectional counterpart the Combi-WR4 reach stackers, the Combi-CS counterbalance is now availble. These all feature CombiLift’s unique, patented multi-position tiller arm which enables safer operation, maximum operator visibility and narrow aisle performance.
The tiller can be turned to the left or right of the unit to position the rear drive wheel, allowing the operator to remain at the side of the machine rather than at the rear as is the case with other pedestrian stackers. This eliminates the risk of operators being trapped or crushed between the back of the machine and racking when handling products
The largest exhibit is a C14000 14t model from the original and still very popular C-Series, designed for heavy duty handling of long and heavy loads – the application for which CombiLift orginally came to the fore as a manufacturer. Other highlights include live demostrations of the Aisle-Master articulated truck to show its narrow aisle capability within racking.
“However much floor space we have, we can never really show all of our products, but the machines on display at LogiMAT give a good representation of the diverse applications we cater for,” said MD Martin McVicar. “We are continuously introducing new products and LogiMAT is always a great show so we look forward to welcome visitors from the UK to our stand.”
