Al Murad is Britain’s largest independent ceramic tiles and natural stone importer and popular retailer. The Yorkshire based company have in excess of 40 stores nationwide since opening the first store over 30 years ago. Specializing in ceramic and stone from all over the world; Al Murad have the ability to offer an extensive range of tiles to choose from including travertine, granite, marble, limestone, glass, porcelain, mosaic, slate, manmade stone and under floor heating as well as all the top branded adhesives and tile accessories.
Due to this wide range of products Al Murad have to offer, the company require retail units which maximise both retail and showroom area. Since 2012 Warehouse Systems Limited have been involved in this maximisation process and have installed mezzanine floors in 17 shops, both in new and existing premises.
Each mezzanine floor is a bespoke design.
Once the layout is agreed, WSL carry out a detailed survey before the floor is designed and manufactured in WSL’s Leeds based factory, and professionally installed by our team.
Existing Premises
The mezzanine floor is designed to compliment the existing layout of the store. The WSL installation team work through the night, whilst the store is closed to minimize any disruption to day to day business.
New Premises
Once Al Murad have the keys to their new premises, WSL get to work straight away in order to have the mezzanine floor successfully completed in time for opening.

WSL mezzanine floors can be seen in Al Murad stores in:- Slough, Chingford, Barnsley, Warrington, Hanworth, Huddersfield, Kilmarnock, Morley, Hayes, Poole, Cannock, Salford, Croydon, Bracknell, Rotherham, Watford and Ilford
All stores include individually designed Stainless Steel Balustrades with glass infill panels and front of house “feature” staircase. All are compliant with current building regulations, and design codes. When required a planning application is also applied for by the WSL team.
