2017 heralded many achievements for the Logistics and Supply Chain Specialists at Gideon Hillman Consulting (GH), having experienced continued and further growth within a diverse combination of our specialisms, including but not limited to Supply Chain and Logistics Operations; Distribution Network Strategy; Warehousing Operations, e-commerce Logistics and Warehouse and Distribution Centre Design.
Consistent with the previous year’s developments in the UK’s Logistics, Distribution and Warehousing sector; 2017 celebrated GH Consulting being awarded new and further project contracts, particularly in the e-commerce, FMCG, Retail and Construction sectors. In addition to this, October 2017 saw GH Consulting turn 13 years old! 2017 introduced GH to an exciting assortment of new clients who will hopefully continue to enlist the skills and expertise of our Specialist Consultants, highlights of which included completing work for prestigious clients.

Throughout 2017, GH attended and exhibited at several industry exhibitions, including Multimodal, Intralogistex, and the Food and Drink Logistics and Supply Chain Summit.
Once again, GH senior management attended and sponsored the 2017 UKWA National Conference, and also sponsored the 2017 UKWA ‘Logistics Manager of the Year Award’ for Industry Excellence.
Planning the events diary for 2018, GH will be returning to the Ricoh Arena, and the NEC, having already booked their stands for 2018 trade shows Intralogistex (stand 159) Running from 27th to 28th February, and Multimodal (stand 7026) Running from 1st – 3rd May. GH have also booked their stand for IMHX 2019 (stand UK16) Running from 24th – 27th Sept 2019.

Starting 2018 on a high, GH Consulting have optimistic expectations for what the year ahead holds. Settled comfortably into their new offices, GH Consulting have big plans, to continue to effectively develop upon new and existing client relationships, and business growth, and to importantly continue to develop their loyal consultant and office teams.
Amongst talks of Brexit, and subsequent oppressive predictions of tougher supply chain ruling, and new restrictions on cross-border trade; the GH team understands that despite these uncertainties, the new year still provides many possibilities, of which they endeavour to approach and take advantage of every new and exciting opportunity that 2018 offers.
