WLN – What’s the most exciting thing about your job?

Meeting new people and travelling around the UK and Europe.

Howard Jagger, Sales Director, Logopak

WLN – Who’s inspired you most in your career?

I have always followed boxing, and one quote from Sugar Ray stays in my mind “Within our dreams and aspirations we find our opportunities”.

WLN – If you were an item in a warehouse, what would you be?

A pallet of good red wine. As the older the wine, the better it gets.

WLN – If you had your career all over again what would you do different?

I would grab every opportunity that comes my way and try everything at least once.

WLN – What’s the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened at work?

At a sales meeting in Poland, sampling the local beverages until the early hours and trying to crowd surf. This resulted in a rather large bump to the head and sobering up on the flight home.

WLN – Who or what makes you laugh?

Northern comedians.

WLN – Do you have any hidden talents?

A couple that I can’t talk about – Ha ha!

WLN –Who would be your favourite party guest?

I would say Liza Tarbuck and Stephen Fry.

WLN –What is the greatest luxury in your life?

A very supportive family and freedom to pursue interests.

WLN – What is your favourite guilty pleasure?

Some SPA / Hot tub time, very much deserved when we have the children looked after.

WLN – Do you have any secret ambitions?

To remember my bag for life on the weekly shop!

WLN – What is your dream holiday destination?

As I am not a fan of flying it would have to be something sensible on travel time. Being a Yorkshireman, I don’t think you can beat the Yorkshire Dales or Yorkshire Moors on a summers day.

WLN – What are your three favourite movies of all time?

Saving Private Ryan, The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile.

WLN – What is your favourite book of all time?

All my sons – Arthur Miller

WLN – What’s your favourite pastime?

Time with the family, gym and good wine.

WLN – If you won the lottery, what would you do?

Retire and try new hobbies.
