With 50 years of experience in the development and manufacturing of high quality plastic pallets and containers, Craemer is known for delivering high processing quality and being a reliable partner of many industries. Now, Craemer presents an exciting addition to the product portfolio: The first pallet box.

The new food grade HDPE pallet box is manufactured in one-piece with three runners and is available in industrial size 1200 x 1000mm. For plastics processor Craemer the box represents an exciting addition to the existing portfolio. Thomas Göbel, Head of Sales Plastics at Craemer, comments: “Our first pallet box is a significant step towards new markets for us. We are now able to react to customer demands for a robust, practical and economical solution from a supplier they already know and trust for high quality”. The new box has smooth interior walls, which makes it easy to clean, resistant to bacteria and ideal for a variety of industries and applications. The main application areas are in the food processing and especially in meat, poultry and fish processing areas. Other industries that use these general-purpose boxes for a variety of applications include waste management or goods distribution in retail environments.

Various benefits for daily handling

The pallet box offers several benefits for daily handling. The wall reinforcement through additional ribs gives the box added impact strength against fork tines. Smooth interior walls facilitate easy cleaning and drying as well as straightforward emptying. The robust runners make it suitable for handling in automated conveyor systems. Interlocking corners allow safe transport and storage. Empty boxes can be stacked as well as box stacked ‘3 into 2’ for further space saving when transporting or storing empty boxes.

The Craemer pallet box also offers different personalisation options with labelling fields for hotstamping of individual logos, lettering or sequential numbering as well as dedicated space for adhesive labels that are often required temporarily during handling. In addition to this, RFID technology can also be added: A build-in transponder bracket offers customers the option of optionally integrating an RFID tag directly or retrofitting it in the future.
