The company’s US headquarters recently announced that yet another global leading automotive manufacturer has chosen I.D. Systems as its exclusive supplier for telematics system solutions for its forklift fleets. A major factor for this decision was the requirement for seamless integration of a fleet management system across the entire company group, which uses forklift fleets of various types from a number of different manufacturers, and the consequential need for the implementation and linking of key operational data. Thanks to the ability to ensure compliance with industrial safety and accident prevention regulations when operating MHE as well as detailed reporting and sophisticated analytical capabilities, PowerFleet® was best placed to fulfil these customer and system based prerequisites.
Following successful initial installations at four US locations at the end of last year, a subsequent order amounting to €2.1m (US $2.4 m) was confirmed. This represents just one phase of the total number of PowerFleet® systems planned for worldwide installation on the customer’s forklift fleets.
