The United Kingdom Warehousing Association’s (UKWA’s) Annual Lunch and Awards takes place on July 5th at London’s Dorchester Hotel. Details of the finalists for each of the Awards categories are reproduced here and news of the overall winners will be published, in Warehouse & Logistics News, after the event.
The UKWA Awards reward excellence in the third party logistics sector and attract entries from some of the most influential companies in the logistics and materials handling industry.
Each nomination was considered by the UKWA Awards Judges and three finalists for each category selected.
There are nine Awards categories open to UKWA members and suppliers to the 3PL sector and the overall winner of each will be announced at The Dorchester. In addition, a further award – the Chairman’s Award – will also be presented.
The Awards follow UKWA’s Annual Lunch, which is sponsored by Toyota Material Handling UK. The company is a leading materials handling equipment supplier and offers pallet trucks, stackers, counterbalance and reach trucks, order pickers and Very Narrow Aisle trucks. Toyota’s trucks and solutions are used in every sector and environment and Toyota’s mission is to support you in minimising the number of transportation movements and maximising the speed from reception of goods all the way to final delivery point.
Inside this UKWA Awards 2017 supplement you will find details of the finalists for each of the Awards categories.
In addition there is a special Chairman’s Award which is sponsored by Colliers International. Awarded by UKWA’s National Chairman to an individual or company considered to have made a real and lasting contribution to the warehousing industry. The winner of this Award will be announced by UKWA Chairman, Tony Mohan, at The Dorchester.
