What’s the most exciting thing about your job?
Every day is different and I always get the opportunity for new experiences.
Who’s inspired you most in your career?
My Mum always inspired me from a young age, she works so hard and is always determined to do her very best but I also have to say my MD Mike Prince. He is constantly pushing me to have one foot outside my comfort zone and nothing ever stands still in his world!
If you were an item in a warehouse, what would you be?
Not strictly limited to a warehouse but I would be a Pronomic Lift&Drive. These ergonomic lightweight lifting trolleys are extremely agile and can handle such a wide variety of challenges across different environments – they can do it all! They reduce risks, improve efficiencies and keep the workforce happy and healthy!
If you had your career all over again, what would you do different?
Life is too short to have regrets, as long as you learn from your mistakes.
What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you at work?
I forgot my passport for a trip to see a customer in France. I couldn’t believe I’d done it. I made it there in the end, I was late by about 8 hours and I’ve never lived it down. But I won’t do it again!
Who or what makes you laugh?
Micky Flanagan, he’s such a lovable rogue!
Do you have any hidden talents?
I can lay a single ply roof.
Who would be your favourite party guest?
Beyoncé, but they say you shouldn’t meet your idols… perhaps Henning Wehn, he’s such a character and would have me in stitches!
What is the greatest luxury in your life?
What is your favourite guilty pleasure?
Crime books / programs.
Do you have any secret ambitions?
I can’t tell you. It’s a secret.
What’s your dream holiday destination?
Seeing the wild elephants in Africa.
What are your three favourite movies of all time?
Austin Powers, Transformers and Mean Girls (it’s a classic!)
What is your favourite book of all time?
Dan Brown, The Da Vinci Code.
What’s your favourite pastime?
Doing Escape Rooms with friends.
If you won the Lottery, what would you do?
Once I’ve splurged a little on family, friends, houses, cars etc, I’m off to Africa to build an orphanage for the elephants.
