Easypack Limited has launched a range of exciting new environmentally friendly packaging solutions as part of their 25 year anniversary celebrations.
The Company set out in 1992 to offer businesses an alternative, ecofriendly way of packing goods and their passion for innovation and sustainability has led them to become the UK’s leading manufacturer of high-speed, on-demand, green packaging systems. They now have a network of offices and distributors across Europe and have been awarded The Queens Award for Export 3 times, which is an exceptional achievement.
This month sees the launch of their brand new ‘pro’ range; packmaster™ pro and packmate™ pro. This new and advanced technology is the second generation of their marketleading packmaster™ and packmate™ systems which convert 100% recycled, recyclable and biodegradable paper into a robust, highly versatile packing medium. The new range was designed and engineered in the UK to offer customers even greater packing versatility, yield and efficiency. The new, faster systems can now convert both single and twin-ply paper in multiple grades and colours which enables customers to pack an extensive range of goods, all from one efficient system.
Another new feature of the ‘pro’ range is the new, user-friendly control panel which allows users to pre-set paper cushion lengths and quantities and then control the output with a hands-free foot switch, helping to speed up operations and reduce costs. These new solutions allow customers to pack and securely transport all kinds of goods from across multiple sectors – from heavy industrial goods through to the most fragile of items.
In addition to the new ‘pro’ range, the company has also launched the new Airspeed® edge, an environmentally-friendly inflatable void fill system which offers a greener alternative to standard polythene air cushion packaging. The green-tinted, puncture-resistant film contains a natural organic additive that accelerates the breakdown of the film in landfill, making it a viable, green packaging solution for those currently using air bags.
Airspeed® edge is fast, ultra-quiet and weighs just 12kg, making it totally portable for use in any packing area, hopper system or work bench. Easypack has always been a visionary company and back in 1992 they not only saw an opportunity to fill a gap in the market for environmentally friendly packaging alternatives, but they also foresaw that sustainability would become a key driver for businesses in the future.
