Aganto’s temporary building structures can be used for a variety of applications for industrial uses, such as warehouses, on-site storage, temporary fire stations and loading bay canopies. There has been an increase however for using the temporary building as a workshopand in particular for vehicle repair, maintenance and even showrooms.

The durable structures are so flexible in their use; a strong foundation on which to transform the customer’s working environment. Aganto provides a template in the form of an industrial aluminium structure, available in 5-30m spans, unlimited length and up to 6m eave. The buildings are suitable for basic weather protection through to chilled storage and easy and quick to transport, install, dismantle, remove, relocate or modify.

To modify an Aganto building is actively encouraged, demonstrating again the versatility of the structures and how they provide a turnkey solution to our customers across sectors who use it to suit their operational needs, such as Liverpool based Motor Range.

In the case of Motor Range, the North West’s number one for used cars, they wanted to bring their vehicle preparation in house so that they had better control over the timing and timeliness of the work being carried out by external contractors and in the process save some costs. Not having the building space available Motor Range needed to create something on the spare land they have on the site.

Motor Range’s Huw Evans turned to Aganto to create a bespoke, flexible and temporary space on site in order they could use it as a vehicle workshop- saving money, time and disruption, and also getting value from the existing site.

Along with the technical and installation team, hands on Managing Director, Andy Butters, worked with Huw to recommend the solution of a 15m wide x 15m long x 4.2m high insulated clear span building, with 5m bay spacing. Workshops are advised to have insulated rooves, consisting of two translucent (or blackout) plastic coated membranes, which are inflated with a specially designed air pump once the roof is in place. Andy also suggested insulated walls-insulated steel sandwich cladding, providing a superior level of insulation, temperature control and minimal condensation.

All Aganto buildings are technically superior which is why customers often then have additional buildings once they see and appreciate the adaptability of a temporary building- envisioning how they would utilise the extra space on-site, once not thought even possible.

Huw explains: “This is Motor Range’s second temporary building from Aganto. Our potential third will also be from Aganto as we can be assured of the quality of the product and the trouble free nature of its construction.

He adds: “The unique part of Aganto’s contribution was the communication in the lead up to the building’s arrival which means any issues are ironed out beforehand. Combined with the expertise and capability of the technical and installation team meant they can be left to get on with the job without needing micromanaging.”

Motor Range even kindly allowed Aganto’s digital video partners to film the installation of the building and then also the results of the modifications to make it into a working vehicle workshop. The flexibility and versatility of Aganto’s temporary buildings knows no bounds- what can you do with yours?!
