Bedford based packaging company Rajapack were rapidly filling their main warehouse up with a huge range of packing products- measuring to almost 4000 different stock which was increasing every day.

Europe’s number one packaging specialist delivers top quality packaging supplies to over 500,000 businesses across the continent- so the requirement to keep the goods safe and undamaged in storage prior to transit, is essential. With such a large volume of stock to store increasing at a daily rate, it also meant the company could not take on any new additional new contracts- something no business wants to do.

Rajapack’s head of logistics, Simon Howes, heard about Aganto’s solution of installing temporary warehouse buildings in days that could be flexible and cost effective. In fact, Aganto’s USP to Rajapack’s future growth strategy, was that the length of hire could be extended at a later date. This unique advantage over traditional buildings was more attractive to Rajapack, along with the additional space.

Aganto suggested a 15m wide x 30m long x 6.2m eave height, insulated roof with steel wallscreating an additional 400 pallet spaces. What was even more unique was Aganto’s flexibility in creating bespoke solutions to whatever the problem may be. Site complications due to the ground conditions meant that getting the correct fixing into the service would need additional ground works. The experienced technical site team helped Rajapack avoid the cost of laying a new base by designing a bespoke solution, saving them over £15,000 and many weeks in time saved to complete the project.

Rajapack were extremely satisfied with how the project was managed and implemented, with Simon giving us this video testimonial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v= 8fbIDXGbteM
