WLN – What’s the most exciting thing about your job?
It’s the challenge of juggling work to keep up a good despatching service to our customers to keep them returning.
WLN – Who’s inspired you most in your career?
Thomas O’Brien our Operations Director. Thomas has taken Boxer from strength to strength in the time I have worked there. He works very hard. He drives us mad with this quote upon quote of TIAR (Thomas is always right)!
We just leave him to believe this to be the case, he’s the boss right? But joking aside he is a caring man who will always make time for you if needed whilst trying to maintain an ever expanding team.
WLN – If you were an item in a warehouse, what would you be
I would be a lightbulb! Its the only thing in a warehouse that ever gets warm! Fellow warehouse workers will relate to this right guys!
WLN – If you had your career all over again, what would you do different?
Maybe try to climb the structure ladder earlier.
WLN – What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you at work?
Having to learn to drive the forklift & reach truck. I HATE IT!
WLN – Who or what makes you laugh?
The funniest thing for me is when someone falls! (As long as they are not too hurt of course) Also my grandchildren can make me laugh.
WLN – Do you have any hidden talents?
No Afraid not. Wish I had.
WLN – Who would be your favourite party guest?
My grandpa. That guy was the life and soul at any gathering. His laugh would brighten anyone’s day. He was a truly, genuine good guy.
WLN – What is the greatest luxury in your life?
My children and my grandchildren.
WLN – What is your favourite guilty pleasure?
Teen Mom. I really shouldn’t be watching this programme at my age!
WLN – Do you have any secret ambitions?
Well I cant tell you that or it would no longer be secret.
WLN – What’s your dream holiday destination?
It would have be a golden sandy beach with aqua water somewhere like the Maldives.
WLN – What are your three favourite movies of all time?
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Who didn’t want to visit Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory as a kid! Dirty Dancing. Patrick Swayze do I need to say more? and Grease – an absolute classic
WLN – What is your favourite book of all time?
First book that came to mind was Flowers in The Attic by Virginia Andrews so I guess it must be that.
WLN – What’s your favourite pastime?
Sitting with my best friend drinking coffee putting the world to rights. Can’t beat it.
WLN – If you won the Lottery, what would you do?
I would build a cul de sac and force my friends and family to live there so they could never escape me!
