The 29,000 Sq.Ft facility was opened by Kite’s Chairman and Managing Partners

Leading UK Packaging Group, Kite Packaging, has officially opened its brand new Letchworth branch after 3 months of refurbishment work. Kites South East operation previously located in Harlow will now operate from the significantly larger Letchworth site.

A modern industrial/warehouse unit located on The Business Park, Avenue One, Letchworth, was acquired in July last year and was officially opened by Bruce McInnes, Kite Packaging’s Chairman, along with the company’s Managing Partners, including Paul Mustard who will oversee the Letchworth branch.

The newest Kite Packaging building is in a prominent position within an established estate in Letchworth Garden City. The property is located on Avenue One which is connected to the B656 providing access to the A505 and A1 (M).

The opening of the Letchworth branch follows a hugely successful year in 2016 for the packaging group, a year that amongst many other successes, saw the group named as one the ‘Top 1000 companies to inspire Britain’, by the London Stock Exchange.

Kite Packaging Letchworth is a dedicated regional branch focussing on serving major accounts. Specialising in bespoke packaging, service solutions and dedicated account management for large business customers, the location is ideal for Kite in serving its North London based customers, right up to Cambridgeshire.

Paul Mustard, Managing Partner of Kite Packaging South East commented on the opening:

“Following the significant growth of Kite Packaging’s previous operation in Harlow and the acquisition of Phoenix Box last summer, we accelerated our plans to acquire a site in the Letchworth area, as a new base for our South East operations north of the River Thames. Following a significant re-development, we are now fully operational and have already welcomed a number of customers to our new location on Avenue One, which has enabled us to offer a wider range of packaging advice and solutions for both our existing and prospective customers.”
