Clugston Group, the £140m privately owned company, which has interests in construction, logistics, facilities management and property development, is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert (Bob) Vickers as Group chief executive commencing in February 2017.

Mr Vickers joins Clugston from Carillion Plc, where he was a director in Carillion Construction Services. He brings a wealth of commercial, general and senior management experience to the company, having previously worked in senior roles at Wimpey Construction, Morrisons, Anglian Water Group (AWG), Gleeson Building and Balfour Beatty. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building and a Life Member of the Institute of Directors.

Mr Vickers will replace Mr Stephen Martin, who will take up the prestigious position of director general at the Institute of Directors in February 2017, having led the Group for 10 years.
