It has been an incredibly busy year for Indigo Software, who is celebrating successful working relationships spanning multiple decades with a number of customers and an MBO which secures an exciting future as the company continues its global expansion strategy.

Indigo’s goal as a WMS software provider is to understand each customer’s business and offer a solution to specifically address their unique challenges. This, together with allowing customers the flexibility to choose between an on-premise or cloud-based warehouse management solution, ensures the company is regarded as a ‘safe pair of hands’ for manufacturers looking to streamline warehouse and supply chain operations.

Tetrosyl, Greene King, Greencore and Starretts are just some of the companies that have engaged with Indigo over the past 12 months.

Precision toolmaker Starretts engaged Indigo to complete a 4- phased project to replace the company’s paper based warehouse management system. Investing in Indigo WMS will improve warehouse accuracy, streamline stock management processes and enable Starretts to compete in new high growth export markets.

Greene King implemented Indigo WMS with voice picking across its network of UK distribution centres. This investment enables the brewing and pub chain to securely move large volumes of product around the business and onto customers as efficiently as possible, reducing overheads by making better use of Greene King’s existing warehousing network.

Indigo’s WMS has also helped consumer products manufacturer Tetrosyl, which has a highly seasonal product range, to increase throughput levels by 10% and save £200,000 per year. During busy periods, Tetrosyl ships over 1,500 pallets daily and relies on the flexibility of Indigo to assign dispatches to either the warehouse, or for larger orders, straight from the end of the production line.
