CHEP, the supply chain solutions company, has announced the appointment of Candice Herndon to the position of Vice President, Strategic Marketing, Europe. Based in the UK, Candice will be responsible for leading efforts aimed at customer loyalty and customer experience; value creation and innovation; strategic growth enablement; and the continued advancement of CHEP as a supply chain solutions provider.

Candice brings expertise from her previous roles within CHEP covering different functional areas and geographic markets. Prior to taking her new position, Mrs. Herndon served CHEP as Senior Director, Global Go-to-Market Strategy. In that role, she was responsible for global brand strategy and the development of specific market strategies centred around customer value creation and solution and capability development. Before assuming that role, she was Senior Director, Retail Sales & Solutions for CHEP USA, leading a nationwide team focused on delivering supply chain efficiency solutions through collaborative engagement with Retailers. She has also held roles in CHEP’s market insights & strategy, sustainability & regulatory affairs and supply chain solutions functions.

Mrs. Herndon joined CHEP in 2006 as part of the Brambles Leadership Pathways Program. Prior to joining CHEP, she worked for Accenture, where she performed strategy and management consulting services across multiple industries and Fortune 500 companies.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Degree with a focus in Operations Management from the University of Georgia (USA) and a MBA in Corporate Finance from Emory University (USA).  She has also participated in the Ongoing Executive Education & Leadership Development Program at the Centre Européen d’Education Permanente (CEDEP) in France.
