Power Bed Battery Change Come and see our demonstration of the Fast Track PowerPlus System.

The Fast Track PowerPlus offers semi-automatic handling where speed and flexibility is required in busy and intensive operations.

Batteries are powered on and off the truck using an independent DC supply. Push button control and no manual handling enables drivers to complete their own changes safely and efficiently as part of their normal daily routine. A battery can be changed in less than one minute to minimise downtime and promote productivity.

Small is the new big – Medium level order picker EPL 100 Featuring the new EPL 100 – UniCarriers is expanding its range of order pickers and offers a customised solution for picking heights up to 3.4 metres – easy order picking at medium height.

The UniCarriers EPL truck is designed to provide quick, ergonomic and cost-effective order picking. The EPL is a medium level order picking truck available in two basic configurations to facilitate order picking either from racking or shelving systems. The EPL 100 allows easy order picking from a height of 2800 mm to 3400 mm.

Logistics Analyser See our Logistics Analyser in action – our material handling tool for simulation, calculation and logistics analytics.

Efficiency and enhanced performance for the warehouse: UniCarriers continues to develop the Logistics Analyser. The software for optimising logistics processes now includes ancillary equipment such as conveyors and mezzanine as well as enhanced 3D functions. The analysis tool displays the material flows of customer’s operations even more realistically to provide opportunities to improve warehouse processes and achieve potential cost benefits. In day-to-day business, companies benefit from slimmer processes, effective staff and materials handling equipment (MHE) deployment, and improved handling performance.

Account Management Reporting UniCarriers know that customers want different information about their MHE operations as their contract progresses. Fleet utilisation may be important during one period yet controlling costs or ensuring service compliance important during another. We have developed a very detailed reporting programme that allows customers to have an overview on many aspects with multiple tiers so that the customer can drill into the detail as much as they desire. By capturing the data within our job handling process, we can report on it.

We believe that service is measurable and should be presented by the people responsible for delivering it so during regular account review meetings. The UniCarriers Service Manager will present the overview and as the discussion with the customer evolves, both can explore the many aspects to the report.

At the end of the meeting the customer is given his own copy of the report for him to review at his own leisure.

VOM – Vehicle and Operation Management System Demonstrating our VOM (Vehicle and Operation Management System) – UniCarriers’ new data-based fleet management solution. “If you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it,” the VOM gives you the data you need to manage your fleet.

The VOM (Vehicle and Operator Management) system evaluates all the performance data from the materials handling equipment (MHE) used: from condition of the vehicle through usage intensity to vehicle and driver data. Daily reports offer customers the optimal basis to visualise improvement potential in the warehouse, increase fleet productivity and reduce operating costs. The solution is not manufacturer-dependent and can be used even for mixed fleets.

All forklift trucks are connected to the VOM system by an on-board computer.

The IT solution provides all the performance data from the forklifts.
