With more and more businesses turning to temporary buildings as the UK continues to battle a chronic shortage of warehouse space, one specialist is continuing to bridge the gap between temporary and permanent structures.IMG_1652

Spaciotempo, the only temporary building provider to manufacture its own structures, has launched Oxygen, the new product offering in its family of temporary structures, characterised by a stylish curved roof profile. Combining high-end aesthetics with the robust construction which customers have come to expect from Spaciotempo, Oxygen goes even further towards bridging the gap between temporary and permanent structures. And for customers seeking to integrate an aluminium framed extension into their permanent facilities, where aesthetics play an increasing part, Oxygen certainly provides food for thought.

The Oxygen product is the latest in a line of product innovations that Spaciotempo has released to the market this year, with plans to officially unveil the full range at this year’s IMHX show in September, from stand 11N1. The business has strengthened its service by offering an increasingly wide range of options both structurally and in terms of interior fit out. Stylish LED lighting, racking solutions, a new style of glazed windows, and now bi-parting glazed doors – a big hit with temporary car showrooms – are all available, broadening the application of Spaciotempo temporary buildings to an increasingly wide range of market sectors, in need of urgent and affordable additional space.

Recent figures from property expert Savills, together with the UKWA, report that the UK is currently facing a chronic shortage of warehouse space, which is set to significantly increase rental prices over the coming years. As a result, many businesses are now turning to temporary structures as a cost-effective and immediate solution.

Scott Jameson, Managing Director at Spaciotempo, explained why the latest product developments from the company are offering businesses a valuable one-stop solution in an increasingly challenging landscape.

He commented: “With the UK currently facing a nationwide shortage of warehouse space, we are finding that more and more businesses, while seeking a cost-effective solution to their need for extra space, are not wanting to compromise on quality. As a result, many have the brief which combines the need for extra space, together with the look and feel of a permanent structure.

“This is especially the case with more established logistics brands. Many well respected and established businesses, particularly those that open up warehouses to third party integrators, are keen for their temporary structures to adopt the same aesthetics as a permanent build, but without the high costs and installation time associated with permanent options. Oxygen offers the best of both worlds, meaning businesses can take advantage of premium temporary structures which complement their existing buildings.  And because Oxygen is available on any size structure, up to an 8m leg it delivers massively both in aesthetics, capacity and durability.”

Oxygen, together with latest product developments from Spaciotempo will be officially unveiled at this year’s IMHX exhibition, the UK’s largest exhibition for the logistics industry, which takes place at the NEC, Birmingham between 13th– 16th September.

And in an exhibition first, Spaciotempo, will also be installing one of its temporary structures as its stand at the show, enabling visitors to see first-hand the durability and high quality aesthetics that its temporary structures provide
