Dean Hawkridge, a former senior supply chain director for some of the UK’s biggest retailers, takes up the Head of Commercial role at DP World London Gateway Logistics Park from August 15, 2016. Dean was most recently Group Director of Product Supply for British builders’ merchant Travis Perkins. Prior to that, Dean was Head of International Supply Chain at DIY retailer B&Q and has also worked in similar roles for Woolworths, Poundstretcher and Burton, in a career spanning almost 30 years.

He has a proven track record in managing and executing complex, end-to-end international and domestic supply chain strategies and solutions, providing increased visibility and stock availability. In his new role at DP World London Gateway, Dean will be able to draw on his expertise and experience to ensure existing and prospective customers are provided with the very best solutions for their business.
