The exclusive Cesab Material Handling dealership in Walsall has added Sid Spencer to the 11-strong MMH team as part of a drive to further grow its forklift sales and service support across the Midlands.

With 21 years’ materials handling industry experience, including roles in engineering and operations, Sid, from Great Barr, joins the dealership with extensive sector knowledge. He said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well recognised family business, help to introduce the Cesab brand to more customers across the Midlands and show the benefits of local service and support in conjunction with a high quality, European manufactured range. I’m excited to be part of the team and hope to make a significant difference to its growth in the coming months.”

MMH was founded in 1981 and works with customers across a wide range of industry sectors, supporting material handling operations in the region from the company’s Walsall headquarters. This brings the benefits of local relationships and fast effective support, said owner Wayne Adams: “Customers know they can rely on us to respond quickly, provide all the back up they need and keep their operations as productive and profitable as possible.

“We’re very much a family business and most of our people have been with us for seven years or more. I joined 28 years ago and eventually bought the business in 2001 and am proud that several of us have been with the company throughout that time. This means our customers deal with familiar faces, understand the expertise we bring and they can be confident that we’ll continue to deliver high levels of service and support whatever the situation.”
