This year’s IMHX exhibition will see the launch of an innovative pallet wrapping solution, which is already taking the packaging industry by storm.

MorsaWrap is a full pallet wrapping system, manufactured to help companies synergise their pallet wrapping operation to ensure they are getting the optimum performance from their pallet, their pallet wrapping method and their film. Using the latest NANO technology, this also ensures that the price is competitive – whilst reducing costs elsewhere in the supply chain.

MorsaWrap was created after extensive research revealed that most pallets are not optimally wrapped, with only 8% having optimum stability and being commercially competitive.

MorsaWrap combats these issues, providing a method of synergising the packaging of pallets by marrying the wrapping method with the film used, combining the very latest in pallet wrapping and film technology.

This gives pallets increased stability which dramatically increases the chances of the pallet, and its contents, arriving at its destination intact. This security is increased by the film’s tear propagation properties, which means that if it is cut it will not split.

MorsaWarp reduces pallet wrapping times and reduces packaging weights which in turn benefits the environment, with less volume ultimately meaning less discarded product to be thrown away and sent to landfill.

IMHX is the premier meeting place for the UK’s intralogistics industry where supply chain professionals gather to evaluate cutting edge technologies, explore the latest industry solutions and discuss how to increase efficiencies within supply chain operations. Taking place at the NEC, Birmingham from 13th-16th September and with over 450 exhibitors, free-to-attend seminars and Demonstration Zones, this year’s event is set to be bigger than ever.

Robert McEwan from MorsaWrap said: “We are exceptionally excited about our launch of MorsaWrap at this year’s IMHX and we believe that it will revolutionise the way companies manage their packaging solutions in the future.

“MorsaWrap isn’t just a product – it’s a system, which utilises the most advanced Nano technology, and applies it intelligently in the production environment, synchronising both the product itself and the equipment used to wrap pallets.

“IMHX seemed the perfect event to launch the brand, as one of the industry’s biggest events. It’s part of our ethos to speak to our customers face-to-face wherever possible to and with over 20,000 attendees expected, it will be the perfect platform to spread the word about MorsaWrap. Every visitor to the stand will get a complementary coffee, so come along and say hello.”

Visitors to the MorsaWrap stand will be challenged to guess the weight saving between MorsaWrap and standard pallet wrap. All participants will be entered into a prize draw, the winner will receive a Nespresso Inissia coffee machine with a selection of coffees and accessories worth over £300. 50 runners up will win a £10 Costa gift card.
