Toolstation, one of Britain’s fastest growing suppliers of tools, accessories and building supplies to the trade, home improvers and self-builders, has recently extended its contract with Howard Tenens for a further five years.

The working partnership between Toolstation and Howard Tenens has gone from strength to strength, with a mutual ethos of continuous improvement delivering excellent service and ongoing cost reductions since the inception of the contract in 2009.
The recent contract extension allows Howard Tenens to continue to support Toolstation’s growth, maintaining first class service levels and driving further cost reductions.
Tenens are developing a number of continual improvement initiatives, including investing in dock levellers at certain outbases, double deck trailers and development of the existing management team. Howard Tenens will continue to deploy their 15.65m trailers within the fleet for Toolstation, providing a 15% increase in trailer capacity, lowering the number of trucks needed on the road.
