An oasis of calm amongst the frantic sales pitches and dealmaking at IMHX, the FLTA’s comfortable two-storey stand offers a relaxed and convenient meet-and-greet area for all materials handling professionals.

FLTA Chief Executive Peter Harvey said: “We very much look forward to meeting fork lift truck dealers, end users, Members and non-Members at IMHX where we’ll be shining a spotlight on fork lift truck safety and raising awareness of the many ways in which the FLTA can help companies improve safety for the good of their business.

Safetember “IMHX takes place during the FLTA’s Safety Month – Safetember – and for those attending the exhibition, the Association will demonstrate a wide range of free resources that are perfect for induction courses, training sessions and toolbox talks.

“This includes safety videos, posters, fact sheets, a hazard perception test for employees and a new online safety assessment tool created by FLT training specialists Mentor Training, all of it offered free-ofcharge from the FLTA during the month of September.

“The Association will also be able to inform visitors about our popular Safe User Group and the newly launched Fork Truck Watchdog, developed to help protect consumer rights.

“For those not attending IMHX, the Safetember resources will all be available free on the FLTA website between 1st and 30th September, and the Association strongly encourages every single materials handling professional reading this to visit the FLTA website during September.”

Meet your industry’s trade associations The FLTA will share the stand with the British Industrial Truck Association (BITA) and the organisation they both created – Consolidated Fork Truck Services (CFTS) – responsible for the industry’s widely-acclaimed Thorough Examination scheme.

The combined stand will provide a wealth of useful information for dealers, owners and operators of fork lift trucks, as well as explaining the great many things the organisations do for their Members, as well as for the industry as a whole.

The Fork Lift Truck Association is the UK’s independent authority on fork lift trucks.
