Gebhardt-ECS is showing some of the latest developments in its automated warehouse technology at IMHX 2016, designed to provide the speed, flexibility and reliability to meet end-customer demand and supported by a newly optimised remote maintenance service.

Geb-Series-300---0147[24]

The Gebhardt OLS (One Level) shuttle range has been enhanced and expanded this year. Two versions are now available. The new generation Gebhardt OLS has been developed to deliver higher throughputs, a better storage density, as well as a better price/performance ratio. The Gebhardt OLS Heavy, which can handle a wider variety of totes, cartons and trays weighing up to 50kg and 1200mm long, has also been introduced.

The Gebhardt MLS (Multi-level) shuttle continues to offer an ideal solution where throughput requirements are higher than can be served by a miniload, yet not requiring the high dynamics provided by the OLS range.

The Gebhardt 500-OLPS system is another development of the StoreBiter concept, providing a fully automated storage and retrieval system for pallets. The system is dynamic and flexible, handling pallets and large containers weighing up to 1400kg. Very high outputs can be achieved with several shuttles working at the same time on one or several levels, the whole operation being controlled automatically to optimise performance.

The extensive range of conveyor units in the System 300 tote and carton conveyor system have been re-engineered to give improvements in maintenance and operator ergonomics. The new generation conveyors also deliver higher throughputs, and are available in versions for handling the smallest carton and container sizes.

The conveyor system includes a new modular control system with optional decentralised intelligence, which can allow customers and integrators to openly program it.

In order to provide customers with the highest standard of support, Gebhardt-ECS has improved its 24-hour 365-day on-line support service by using more modern customer-focused technology. This enables support engineers to react immediately to customers’ problems, resolve more technical issues directly on the hotline, and so reduce the need for service crews to be sent to site for minor issues.
