The Flexi AC range of articulated forklift trucks from Narrow Aisle Ltd improves storage, handling and customer order assembly efficiency in manufacturing and logistics environments.

FLEXI-pick-pic-copyNarrow Aisle designs, manufactures and supplies the Flexi range in capacities from 1.3 to 3.0 tonnes and with lift heights of between 3.0 and 15.0 metres and the trucks can operate in aisleways as narrow 1.6 metres.

The flagship in the range, the Flexi AC 1200 electric powered articulated forklift truck, is the most popular articulated warehouse truck in Europe and at this year’s IMHX (NEC, Birmingham, September 13- 16) the company will demonstrate the benefits of its Flexi AC range by making the products ‘come alive’ on its stand (12 U84).

Narrow Aisle has a number of new and innovative products to release at the show. These include the Flexi AC StorMAX, an advanced intralogistics concept that combines very narrow aisle operation with the ability to store two pallets deep up to 11 metres high which, when used in conjunction with Warehouse Management System (WMS) technology, can service over twice the number of pallet locations than a traditional reach truck-centred storage cube layout.

Also new for 2016 is the Flexi AC VNA, an articulated forklift solution that operates safely in the smallest aisles and offers the fastest throughput speeds with no requirement for costly guidance systems.

In addition, visitors to the stand will be able to assess the FlexiPiCK, a case layer picking order assembly solution that has been designed to eliminate manual case picking and provides pick rates of 1200 cases per hour per man.

Developed by Flexi Warehouse Systems in the USA, this new mechanized case picking approach is coming to the UK FMCG supply chain.

The Flexi NANO, a low cost VNA machine aimed at the out of town retail sector, which is easy to drive and offers versatile pedestrian truck performance, will also be highlighted.

The system design and delivery capabilities of Narrow Aisle’s Flexi Warehouse Systems Division will also feature prominently at the show. Customers are invited to bring along their warehouse dimensions and parameters and obtain a set of storage solutions free of charge.

With many years’ experience to call on, the Flexi Warehouse Systems Division works closely with clients to develop projects by carefully considering all the elements that influence the efficiency of the operation and the future payback potential of a new warehouse system.

Using CAD, modeling and strategic partners in WMS, storage equipment systems and complementary materials handling equipment, the Flexi Warehouse Systems Division is not only able to optimise the efficiency of any warehouse space to provide the most cost effective solution, but it can do so in a faster implementation timeframe than has previously been thought possible. Key personnel will be on hand throughout IMHX to explain how.
