The AWI manufacturing facility in Stafford has gradually expanded and now operates from seven units on Telford Drive. Each of the goods in and out warehouses has been upgraded replacing the previous sectional doors with EFAFLEX’s ‘SST’ premium high – speed spiral design.
Simon Pulford, Plant Manager at AWI’s Stafford facility, was keen to comment, ‘We are delighted with EFAFLEX. This has been a phased expansion and the classic high-speed spiral design door has been an asset to our business. Our warehouse doors are in constant use as a busy exporter of products abroad. The EFAFLEX doors have helped us secure our premises as well as ensuring the safety of our operatives. We use a fork lift truck mounted transmitter which allows our drivers to activate the door opening. This is flexible and can be set to a 10 second to 5 minute delay – perfect for our needs!’
